Company Law Update: Extension of AGM by 2 Months

✓ Ministry of Corporate Affairs has advised Registrar of Companies to give approval for extension of timeline for holding Annual General Meeting by 2 Months to the Companies whose financial year ended on March 31, 2021.

Important Decisions taken by the Apex body of the ICSI in its 295 Meeting held on 24 March, 2023 : 1. Approved the increase in 'Entrance Fees (Application for Associate and Fellow Membership) from Rs. 2000/- to Rs. 3000/ w.e.f 01 April, 2023. 2. Accorded in-principle approval to formulate "ICSI Stewardship Code' for all Institutional Investors and Service Providers, encapsulating the best stewardship practices. 3. Approved the extension of the last date for obtaining mandatory CPE credits by the Members for the Year 2022-23. 4.
