Company Law Update: Companies can hold EGM virtually till December 31, 2021.

✓ Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has allowed to conduct extra-ordinary general meeting (EGM) through Video conferencing or other audio visual means till December 31, 2021.

✓ To conduct EGM through Video conferencing or other audio visual means one may refer MCA General Circular no. 14/2020, 17/2020, 22/2020.

Important Decisions taken by the Apex body of the ICSI in its 295 Meeting held on 24 March, 2023 : 1. Approved the increase in 'Entrance Fees (Application for Associate and Fellow Membership) from Rs. 2000/- to Rs. 3000/ w.e.f 01 April, 2023. 2. Accorded in-principle approval to formulate "ICSI Stewardship Code' for all Institutional Investors and Service Providers, encapsulating the best stewardship practices. 3.
