FEMA Update: Extension of Registration under FCRA Act, 2010

✓ In view of Covid-19 pendemic situation, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) extended the validity of Registration Certificates issued under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, (FCRA) 2010 till September 30, 2021.

✓ The above shall be applicable for certificates which have expired or are expiring during the period between 29.09.2020 and 30.09.2021.

Important Decisions taken by the Apex body of the ICSI in its 295 Meeting held on 24 March, 2023 : 1. Approved the increase in 'Entrance Fees (Application for Associate and Fellow Membership) from Rs. 2000/- to Rs. 3000/ w.e.f 01 April, 2023. 2. Accorded in-principle approval to formulate "ICSI Stewardship Code' for all Institutional Investors and Service Providers, encapsulating the best stewardship practices. 3. Approved the extension of the last date for obtaining mandatory CPE credits by the Members for the Year 2022-23. 4.
